Tiger - Medium - Adult - Female - Cat - Kitty
Please contact Kathy Rivera (catchacat_2@hotmail.com) for more information about this pet.PRESENTLY WE HAVE A VARIETY OF CATS FOR ADOPTION. SEVERAL CALICOS AND TORTIES. VIEW THEM ON LINE OR COME TO PETCO TO SEE THEM IN PERSON. The Cats and kittens are rescued from extreme situations including euthanazia at shelters that are full beyond capacity. They are all fostered by volunteers until a good home is found. Several are shy but all they need is lots of love and attention so that they can bloom to their full potential. Most are happy and trusting and are just waiting for the perfect home to call their own. Please give them a chance by adopting them. Habitat for Cats Foster adoption Program requires an application, an agreement, vet verification and a home visit. Each of these cats/kittens are tested for FIV/Felv, vaccinated dewormed, neutered/spayed. A fee of $75.00 dollars helps defray the medical expense. The care provided by the fostercare parents is in kind. If you are interested in viewing these cats please contact the foster parent directly. Also, we show our cats at PETCO at the Pittsford location (Monroe Avenue). Every Sunday from 12-3 pm. We also have veiwing of cats at the Canandaigua location every other Sunday.“Kitty” is a short hair golden tiger striped cat. She is spayed and has all her current shots. She was born into a barn colony of cats in May, 2007, so she is use to having a lot of freedom to roam/explore and interacting with other cats. The tip of her left ear is missing due to being spayed through the Habitat for Cats program. A kind neighbor has been letting the cat live with her since the mother barn cat brought Kitty to her home at age 4 months. She is friendly, loves people and other cats. She likes to chase after a string that someone pulls for her, play with balls that make a sound, likes to be outside in the warm dry weather, and uses a litter box. She sometimes acts desperate/demanding when she is hungry, due to starving when she was young. She has no experience of being around dogs and likes the company of another cat. She doesn’t like to be picked up, but likes to lay on your lap and to be petted. She is easily trained. The kind neighbor is planning to move this spring. She would do best living with another cat and with the owner being around - like a retiree, or someone working from home. She is used to being put into a room for the night where she can sleep and then let her self out of the cat door at will. This cat is too nice to be left to the fate of returning to be a barn cat. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON KITTY, PLEASE CONTACT PEGGY HARVEY AT (585) 872-1979 We are always seeking for good and caring foster homes. All foster parents are required to fill out an application and an agreement. Being a fostercare parent can be a rewarding experience. If interested, please email or give us a call.
