She is 3 years old with short, sleek, black fur with a tiny bit of white on her chest, and the most amazing eyes. She loves to talk! She has been living with us, her foster parents, since she was eight months old, but because she is deathly afraid of the other 15 rescued cats in the home, she instigates fights with them and must be separated from the group. This is not a good situation for her, as she really LOVES human contact, but she ends up closed off in an upstairs area all day, every day, and only gets attention when we are upstairs playing, feeding and petting her, which we try to do on a regular basis. Because of her stress, she had an issue in the past where she would urinate in the bathtub, but since her separation from the other cats (it has been about a year), we have not had another problem with her whatsoever (we suspect some of the other cats were chasing her from the litter box). She uses her box upstairs just fine, with no accidents, though she requires a high-sided box because she stands up when she goes! Suri would LOVE to find a forever home with no other pets (we doubt she would appreciate dogs, either), with someone who will gladly use her beloved fishing pole toys every day, will love her, pet and brush her, cuddle her and take good care of her. It pains us to have to give her up, as we wish she could stay with us forever, but we know she deserves so much more out of life than what we can provide her in our home of rescued cats. She is truly a sweet and special animal with a heart of gold, and we are hoping against hope that she will find the right home very soon so that she may have the quality of life she so deserves. She will allow her owners to trim her nails, although she does sometimes complain (all 'bark', no bite)! :-) Suri is fully vetted and spayed, will come with her records, her comfy bed, her box, and her special toys. All she needs is YOU!
