I can have you up and running like new for the cheapest price in the Rochester area :) Does your battery not charge? Not getting any power to your laptop at all anymore? Or does your laptop sometimes charge sometimes not? Chances are good you need a dc jack repair or replacement. I am an experienced Kodak Technician and have years of soldering and repairs under my belt. I offer free estimates and if the jack needs to be soldered back into place I'll do it for $60 even. Additional charge if I have to order a replacement jack ($5-$15 for most models), but not common, and you would be notified first :) I can also do other repairs and upgrades (lcd, ccfl bulb, gpu or southbridge chipset reflow, hd, ram, os, cd/dvd/bluray/wireless) as well as fix your broken digital camera! Contact me with your other repair needs and I'll get back to you with a price estimate :) If you do not feel comfortable bringing your laptop directly to me you can also bring it in to Chase Computers in Greece (Ridgemont Center), Fix My PC on Ridge Road, or Lake Ave. PC. The laptop will still come to me, but you will be charged the stores full price for the jack repair (not $60 and guessing over $100, I don't ask). The price of peace of mind ;)
