Greyhound - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog - Rescue Pepe

Pepe, 2-4 year old Greyhound Mix, neutered male, excellent in the house, great companion, good with other dogs and cats, great on a leash, loves riding in the car, trained for invisible fence. After Pepe arrived to us, we found that he had some abnormal bleeding. We had him checked out and was foundto have TVT - a type of cancer. It was caught early and Pepe was given several sessions of chemotherapy. That is all behind him and he is now cancer free. The treatment for TVT is very effective and the vet does not think it will reoccur. Won't you give this survivor a chance? Volunteers For Animals periodically pulls dogs for other shelters in need of moving animals to avoid euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals. We are able to do this through the generosity of many people such as the originating shelter staff, transporters, foster volunteers and others who help with pulling fees, vet bills and finding good homes once they are here. The adoption process includes an application that is completed by the potential owner. If there are multiple applications on the same animal, the animal will go to the best home for that particular animal - not necessarily the first application.
