Tipper is around a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier who was rescued from a pound in KY. Tipper is not your typical JRT in that he is calm and mellow. He is being fostered with cats, dogs, as well as children. He loves other dogs but tends to chase cats. He likes children, but they tend to surprise him so a home without young children is best. He also would prefer a home that understands he likes to be on his feet and does not like to be picked up very often. He doesn't need to be crate trained as he is perfect when left alone. Tipper was diagnosed with epilepsy after HOPE rescued him. This condition is controlled with Phenobarbitol which is a cheap medication to purchase and is easy to give to Tipper.
