Jasmine came to us from an abusive home. She is just over a year old, but she hasn't forgotten the kicks, beatings and being starved. She needs to go to a home with a women or a family that can continue the training we are doing at the rescue. She will not bit she barks and because she is big ,she frightens some people. She is really a loving dog that needs to have an owner that will use positive reinforcement and be the alpha that she needs, to be a good girl. She is fine at the rescue with both men and women, but we do not let her fears get to her or let her act out because of them. She is not food aggressive and she is great with children. She is just not liking men right now. We will be more than happy to work with the right person and help them understand what needs to be done and how it needs to be done, before you bring her to your home. And as with all our dogs we are just a phone call away. For this reason we would only adopt her to a family within a 60 mile radius, unless you are willing to work with a professional dog trainer and can guarantee that. ( But we are free) She will be a wonderful dog and she deserves a chance, especially after her horrible start. (There are places I won't mention for people who do things like this to innocent animals.) If you are interested in meeting her please let us know. You are welcome to come to the rescue during the hours we are open, Mon-Fri 10-5 and Sat 10-4. We can discuss her adoption fee after meeting you and seeing what you think. Her adoption fee is $250.00
