Description
Emma is a 7 year old female (spayed) chocolate dappled dachshund who came into rescue with her sister Abby as a result of a divorce. She weighs about 10 lbs, but needs to lose a little to regain her girlish figure. Emma is a sweet, friendly doxie who loves people of all ages, including small children. She needs time to adjust to other dogs, but once adjusted she is great with them. Emma has a high prey drive, so can not go to a home with cats, birds, rabbits or other small creatures she might consider good hunting. Emma loves belly rubs, napping with anyone available and will play when shes in the mood. She is housetrained, crate trained and walks fairly well on a leash. Emma's ideal home should have at least one other dachshund or small dog as a companion. Please consider giving Emma the forever home she so richly deserves.
